Title: high park coyote.
Post by: denis on February 13, 2010, 02:38:32 PM
about 12.30 p.m. i went in the southern entrance, after humber, and just made it down the stairs to the pond, when i observed this coyote, cross the path in front of me,and head across grenadier pond.he went between 2 sets of people skating, and dissapeared on the western side,by the houses.couldn,t get a head shot,as he didn,t turn at all on his way across.very healthy looking animal.

Nice...I saw him the same weekend I captured the Cedar Waxwings in High Park...funny thing is he was so close to me and trotting so casually I thought it was sombodies dog lol..then I realized nobody was around and that it was a coyote he was to far into the woods to get a clear unubstructed pic...

same here he trotted between me,and a fellow sitting on a bench,so casually, that i didn,t react quick enough to get a head shot.
