Title: Presqu'ile Park Feb. 13/2010
Post by: Anonymous on February 13, 2010, 06:15:28 PM
Saw the following in no particular order today:

1 x Mature Bald Eagle - flying between lighthouse and waterfront road out over the lake.  Had great views for 15 minutes before the greater black backs chased him almost to Amherst Island.

1 x Merlin - chasing birds along the treeline adjacent to the lake before the lighthouse.

2 x Barred Owls - no sense in posting, everyone knows where they are.

2 x Pileated Wood Peckers - entrance to Jobes' Woods.

4 x White Tail Deer - calf pasture just passed the bridge overpass.

2 x CF-18 Hornets - man I love this park. :)
