How cute are these guys.
I love Red Squirrels, and they LOVE to torment my dogs.
Great photos.

Great shots!
The Reds seem to be thriving here.
A few years ago I only saw a couple, now there are at least a dozen.

Where is Lambton Woods / James Garden ?

We had pretty much only the reds at my home (Ayton, ON -- about 40 mins. south of Owen Sound) but in recent years, I have noticed first one, then two and now three black phased greys visiting our feeders...I can't explain why BUT...it bugs me to see them at my feeders...the reds add to my enjoyment and I really don't fret about seeing them access my feeders...

I was just curious...does anyone know about the interaction between the two species? Does the appearance of the greys mean trouble for the reds? I know in the UK the greys had a deleterious effect on the population of reds...but someone on this board pointed out to me that they are two different species...
