great captures clemens.
just a note:i think your flash settings are a bit too high.notice the double catchlight in the eyes,especially in #2,and #3. you can actually see the flash.i would try at least -1 below ambient.

Excellent series Clemens. The merganser is my favourite with the water drops & ice crystals.
