Title: Sharp-shinned or Cooper's?
Post by: JW Mills on February 19, 2010, 05:56:56 PM
I'm guessing the bird was about 12 - 15 in long
Sorry about the image quality, it's the best I could do.

Title: Sharpie

Hey!

I think you answered your own question when you said how big/small it  was.

The tale of tail feathers tells us that it's a Sharpie.

Great spotting!

Napper :)

Thanks Napper!
There are some areas of bird ID that I am weak on and this is one of them.

Incidently, I spotted the Sharpie Friday morn at Lambton Woods when Denis, Graham and I were tracking the Pileated.
