Title: Riverwood Park, Mississauga

Hi folks, Nice day to be out. Good sightings of WB nuthatches and chickadees in this area. Also seen: downy woodpecker and sharp-shinned hawk. Pretty sure of the latter - I've studied the books and previous comments on this site re: SS v. Coopers. Body size was relatively small with really small head.
Funny thing was I could hear several cardinals but never saw one.

Riverwood Park is on N. side of Burnhamthorpe between Mavis and Mississauga Rd.

Hi Margaret.

Are you going to check out the Owl Prowl there on Wednesday night 7-8:30pm?
