My fiancee and I were at the Distillery today at 3ish. As we were walking down Mill St, I noticed a large hawk fly and land on a tower/building on the northwest corner of the Distillery. It immediately left and flew towards the condos at 70 Mill St, making this noise as it flew (http://www.kwic.com/~pagodavista/sharpshn.wav). It landed on the top floor (7th) balcony railing and a parade of feathers came floating down. I guess it caught a nice pigeon lunch on the tower it landed on.
We watched it eat and couldn't identify it other than it looked like a red-tailed hawk, but not really. I am using its call (linked above) as the identifier.
We left before it flew away.
