Title: Critter - Wabukayne Lake - Muskrat
Post by: Luv2Bird on March 03, 2010, 10:30:21 PM
This time I'm pretty sure it's a Muskrat (per everyone's descriptions) . He was pulling up roots and munching away so I managed a "back end" shot for verification !   :D
Muching Muskrat -- he swam by almost in front of me last week.

Sue ... Excellent!  I haven't seen a Muskrat at Lake W. for ages.  Nice to see one is there again!

Yes ... this was a surprise.  Amazing what comes along when we aren't expecting it.  The Wood duck was still there too. He didn't seem to be hanging around his lady friend.  I heard him before I could see him among all the mallards. Nice place.
