Title: Re-necked Grebes at Sam Smith Park
Post by: Brian Bailey on March 07, 2010, 05:09:09 PM
There were surprisingly few birds at Sam Smith Park this afternoon:  most of the usual suspects, but no large flocks.  I found two Red-necked Grebes off the south side.  I don't know if they were early migrants or overwintering birds.  Some do stay, but I haven't seen any there this winter.

There was a Coot in front of the filtration plant.  No sign of RWBBs yet.
