Title: Mockingbird at Lake Aquitaine
Post by: Bird Brain on March 09, 2010, 07:04:02 PM
Hi everyone.  This morning I was walking around Lake Aquitaine from 10-11am.  Heard a "Cardinal" singing up a storm which turned out to be a Mockingbird.    He/she was singing, chirping, having a good time.

Sue ... it was great meeting up with you this afternoon, wandering around the South end of Maplewood Park then Lake A.

We heard the local Mockingbird at the corner of Scarlett Road and St. Clair.  He was on the north/east corner.  This intersection is his hang-out...  noticed him much of last year and a bit, in the nicer weather that is.  I recognized his one song from our bird clock.

I have to figure out where Lake Aquitaine is.  I know I've heard of it.
