This morning I met up with BIGFRANK and we put in a couple of hours at our local birding spot. With the warm weather the birds were a-singing, spring is in the air! Here's a few of today's highlights:
Carolina Wren
Pileated Woodpecker
American Kestrel
Blue Jay
House Finch (very few seen here this winter)
Hairy Woodpecker
Killdeer (first of the season)
Red-winged Blackbird (first of the season)
Walter

Hey Walter, is the Pileated on the other side of the park? He's never on my side!
Did it land on your shoulder? OK I'm jealous.
Could Frank possibly has some kind of secret magnatism that brings the birds in?
Does my aura screw the whole thing up?
I never have any luck seeing Mr.P ( my apologies to the original Mr.P)
Maybe tomorrow or the next day or the day after that!!
The search is never ending!
See ya soon!
