On my way back to the car after a cold, wet and windy walk at Humber Bay East this morning, I heard my first Song Sparrow of the season singing from the Red Dogwoods that line the path near the short footbridge close to the road. Also saw two male Cardinals duking it out for the best singing perch when I got home.
