Title: Red bellied woodpecker (Lambton Woods)
Post by: mr.sharp-photo on March 16, 2010, 09:10:09 PM
It landed twice on the big, tall tree near the feeders. I couldn't get a clear shot, but this was the best.
Enjoy (I hope)

thanks. i took 6 pics. 2 are identical and 2 are not 100% sharp. there are 2 more but there isn't catchlight.
today was a frustrating yet rewarding day. was missing my old camera and the sharp:soft ratio is skewed AND my file size is 1/2 my regular file size...
but i still got some keepers.

Darn those branches - what a clear, crisp shot of this beautiful bird.

There's so many small branches at the Woods. It can be tough to get a clear shot.
Great shot nevertheless!

Really nice shot.  I heard the Red Belly yesterday but never saw it.
