Post by: Raven11:11 on March 20, 2010, 07:11:44 PM
he was too quick for me to even get my camera on and focus however I did see a bird that I thought was an Osprey, is the Sparrow Hawk essentially the same bird?  :?: [/img]

Osprey is a large hawk, it is a slow flyer
Sparrow Hawk is now called American Kestel.
The common small hawks are American Kestrel, Sharp-shinned Hawk and Coopers Hawk. Merlin is rare.
