Title: Screech Owl
Post by: JW Mills on March 28, 2010, 12:39:27 AM
Not the best pic but I thought I'd post it anyway as it is my first owl.
If you look closely you'll see that his eyes are closed.
Lambton Park, March 26.

Wow, another one!!!  Screech-owls are my favs.  Not always the easiest to find because of their size and colour.  Good sighting and cute pic!

That's a gr8 find John!

Last year I got a long eared owl in The Col Sam Smith park. Somebody told me that it is resident there. May be you could get your second one. I also heard of a snowy frequenting the docks there this winter. May have left already - did not get the chance myself.
