Found 3 NSWO 's in owl woods today along with 6 Long Eared Owls, see pic of NSW.

Thought to reply to this thread rather than start another.
I may be making my first trip to Amherst tomorrow (11/24) in preparation for further trips this winter. Mostly to familiarise myself with the Island. Is there anything I should know about parking/access/trails etc if I check out the woods and sanctuary?

No, nothing other than what I can see on a map ( from the A.I. website) about its general location.
Thats one reason why I thought it might be a good idea if I have a free day, to go down there for the first time while weather is decent and before I go there later this winter when Im "hoping" for good results....not wanting to waste time finding places etc.
