I know it's highly unlikely that I saw a black crested titmouse at my feeder in Oakville and that it's much more likely to be a tufted titmouse but it sure looked like the former. The crest appeared to be black and the black stripe extended down to the beak. Since the black crested is a native of Texas, it must have been a tufted titmouse but I'll keep the camera ready for next time.
