today was hawk day. we saw 1 RTH on a light standard on Pottery Rd (the first two pictures) and then saw 2 at the Brickworks.
The one at the Brickworks gave us and two other people a show. It swooped down to the ground twice in 3 minutes to attempt to hunt something. it came up empty handed.
today, i also saw 3 turkey vultures (Hwy 7 and Centre St in Thornhill/Concord) along with a sharp-shinned hawk.
