Hi guys
Got my first Killdeer of the year in the Leslie Spit today evening towards sunset. Also got the Northern flicker, this time in better light, but covered by some branches. You can see the pathetic photos I had of this guy in the bird ID section :)

i heard the killdeer but didn't see any. in fact, i think i heard one closer to the Don River. strange.
the flicker was making a lot of noise on friday, but was high up in the trees. i have some pictures of it but the angle sucked.
