Title: Bellamy Ravine, Scarborough
Post by: Bluffs Birder on April 05, 2010, 09:47:31 PM
Amongst the 17 bird species that I saw this afternoon down the Doris McCarthy Trail, I had a few Hermit Thrushes on the hillsides and a Winter Wren working quietly in and out of the rocks along the creek.

Hi Leslie,

Here's the other birds that I saw there:

Red-tailed Hawk, Ring-Billed Gull, Rock Pigeon, Mourning Dove, Downy Woodpecker, Northern Flicker, American Crow, Black-capped Chickadee, White-breasted Nuthatch, Brown Creeper, Golden-crowned Kinglet, American Robin, European Starling, Song Sparrow, American Goldfinch

Like everywhere else in the city, things will only get better in the ravine during the weeks to come.

Walter

Thanks, Walter.
I know real birders get excited about the rarities, but I'm just as interested in the regulars.
