found these in sheridan creek at rattray marsh. someone told me they were salmon...i'm not so sure. looks like trout to me!

any idea what these are?

They look like Suckers to me.

They are 100% Suckers!! They spawn every spring & come up the rivers by the thousands!!

Yes they are 110% White Suckers.  Very Common this time of year in most streams flowing into most lakes. Salmon are fall spawners and do not have inferior mouths (i.e. mouth pointing downward.) looks like 3 males and 2 females. The fish at the bottom is either a female or a male not in spawning colours.
