Hey
This morning amid the snow flurries there was a swallow flying around just North of our Hangers. It eventually headed West towards the new drainage ponds at Downsview Park. It looked to be a Barn Swallow (forked tail), It was not a Tree Swallow.
The Kestrels have been continuously visiting the nest site. When I left work today I walked under the hole in the wall and there was a kestrel looking down at me. Hopefully this year I get to see the little ones fly a bit more.
