Title: Anyone know this bird song?
Post by: mr.sharp-photo on April 13, 2010, 01:46:21 PM
Among a bunch of cardinals, i heard an unusual call. sounded like:

Ji-min-ney Ji-min-ney Ji-min-ney Jim!

with each syllable of "jiminey" being an ascending arpeggio.

any clue?

*edit* this was near the Don River

It actually sounded a LOT like that, but slowed down.
each "jiminy" took around 1 second.

otherwise, that's pretty close.
