Notables included the following:
Killdeer (very numerous)
Greater Yellowlegs (x2)
Lesser Yellowlegs (x3)
Gadwalls (x2 pairs)
Green Winged Teal (x3 pairs)
Buffleheads (x3 pairs)
Red Tail Hawk (x1)
Tree Swallows (very numerous)
Northern Mockingbird (x1)
There was no sign of the Great Egret as it was probably over at the rookery. As well, there was no sign of any goose variants given that the visit was midday and they were probably dispersed accross farmers fields foraging. No Great Blue Herons were present, and shorebirds such as dunlin, dowitchers, and other peeps should start arriving by the end of May.
