Title: White-Tailed Deer
Post by: Cody on April 18, 2010, 10:17:05 PM
While birding on 10th Side road in Saltfleet yesterday morning, I saw 3 White-Tailed Deer. The deer were observed for about 3 minutes from a very far away distance, and then they moved back in to the forest and disappeared.

Unfortnately though, when I was there all the waterfowl and other birds got scared away because of a Northern Harrier in the area and did not return, so my birding at 10th Road was ruined. Just to make things better, a train came just as I was leaving. I did see a Cassiar Coloured Junco though, so the day was not too bad.

Your birding was ruined because of a northern harrier...I wish.
Mine gets ruined because of boring and tedious chores.
