Title: Recent Heronry Shots
Post by: MEGHAN on April 19, 2010, 07:11:32 PM
Very windy day made for some shaky shots and strange lighting due to the time of day, made for some weird colors in the photos.
So I appologize for the quality.
Thanks for looking.

Still cool pics, nice captures...  bringing twigs to the nest, in flight shots are neat.  Thanks for sharing!  The whole "Heronry" thing was new to us this year.  Is this the same place, up in Richmond Hill?

Love the herons, they are close to my heart.

It seems that your sensor needed some TLC (dust spots).
What do you shoot with?

I recall another nesting site up on the Grand River in Brantford. Bald Eagles are nesting there as well.
