Today I went over to Queens Park on my lunch hour because I heard that there were yellow-bellied sapsuckers there. I did see a woodpecker, but I don't know what kind. It wasn't a hairy or downy, I know them well.
I don't think it was the sapsucker because I didn't see any red. It was the size of a hairy, had a white bar on it's wings and had a yellowish tinge to its underbelly. Any ideas?
I'm going back tomorrow with binoculars.
