Title: Rose-breasted grosbeaks & blue-headed vireo
Post by: silverfoxx on April 30, 2010, 05:09:23 PM
This is the first day that I've spotted any songbirds in my backyard other than the usual early arrivals (kinglets, redwings, cowbirds, song sparrows, sapsuckers, flickers, white-throats, etc.)
This morning - 2 Rose-breasted grosbeaks (both male) and a blue-headed vireo.
The rest can't be far behind.

(thanks Murray for correction)

I usually see them around May 1 - so they are right on schedule
