Don't want to be rude, but it looks like some kind of a parrot to me.  Love to know what it is as well as I am newbie on bird watching. Where did you take the photo? backyard or in some park?

in my backyard at Keele St. and Wilson Ave, North York

Looked it up on a Lovebird site...we think is a Cobalt  Lovebird

I agree its a lovebird. Try and see if you can get it to come to your hand. Tempt it with some food or water

this is an (immature)? peach or white faced lovebird, obviously someone left a door open somewhere :( poor thing
