After many months of visiting this site, this is my first post. Sunday (yesterday) afternoon visiting Reesor Pond, I saw a pair of swans and am wondering if they are Trumpeters. Their necks were held long and straight and the bills appeared to be all black or dark grey. I hope that someone can help ID these beauties.

Yep, definitely sounds like a Trumpeter Swan to me. Mute Swans have a curved neck, orange bill, and black face.
