Post by: Mathieu Siol on May 06, 2010, 12:01:24 PM
Hi all,

this morning I spent a couple of hours at Colonel Samuel Smith Park, south of Kipling... It was very very quiet.
Among the common birds I managed to see

Baltimore Oriole 1
Orchard Oriole  1 male
White-crowned Sparrow  9
White-crowned Sparrow  5
Yellow-rumped Warbler   4
Nashville Warbler    3
Chestnut-sided Warbler   1  male in the "little bowl"
Northern Parula   1 beautiful male in the "little bowl"
Marsh Wren  1
Lesser Yellowlegs   1

that's all

Mathieu

We were there for about an hour yesterday afternoon and the highlight for us was a male Rose-breasted Grosbeak. Was only the second time seeing one for us.   :D
