Been a while since I've seen one Moira - it certainly is the highlight of the year so far.

I spent years looking for one...travelling and hiking in Algonquin and other places...saw one last year in a yellow birch immediately in front of my house...but it so took me by surprise that I forgot to take a picture...the funny thing is, as beautiful as it was, it was my holy grail of birding for so many years...but...in retrospect, I enjoyed the indigo bunting far more...something about the black on the wings kinda took it away for me...it was too black...maybe I was so used to the plate on my Peterson field guide...
