Title: High Park May 9th - 10 Warbler Species (51 total)

Despite the blustery winds and intermittent snow flurries (!) there were several decent pockets of birds actively feeding and singing this morning between 7 and 10am.  The three most productive locations were the rock garden/waterfall area just north of the big maple leaf, the gardens on the hillside just south of the maple leaf and the ridges just north of Colborne lodge.

Warblers:
Cape May (1)
Nashville (1)
Blackburnian (4)
Black-throated Green (3 and more heard)
Black-throated Blue (3)
Black-and-white (3)
Ovenbird (1 seen two more heard)
Yellow (1)
Yellow-rumped (many)
Common Yellowthroat (1)

Others of note
Orchard Oriole
Baltimore Oriole
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Ruby-crowned Kinglet
Common Loon (fly over)
Veery
Warbling Vireo
Blue-headed Vireo
Least Flycatcher

We were at High Park this morning too, didn't see nearly has much as you, as Warblers are new to us, but we saw a Black-throated Blue Warbler and was completely in awe of his beauty.

Do you think they'll still be around next weekend?

i was at Colbourne Lodge today from 10:30-11:30 and walked to Grenadier Pond. saw absolutely nothing other than some orioles and white-throated sparrows.

We were there from 8am-10am, another highlight for us was a Grey Catbird, but seeing the Warbler for the first time was awesome! We also saw Baltimore Orioles, Cardinals, Flickers, White-crowned Sparrows, Chipping Sparrow, Red-winged Balckbirds and lots of House Finches, they were eating dandelions off the lawn, so were the White-crowned Sparrows.....the flower part was gone, they were eating the tops of the stems.
