Title: RFI... any idea on this bird, even with the grainy shots?
Post by: Rob'in'To on May 09, 2010, 12:35:37 PM
I saw this very vocal yellowish bird at a park near me today.  I thought it might be a female Oriole of some sort but the face is rather dark and so were the wings and beak.
It's a cloudy windy day and I probably shouldn't even bother with the camera but I always take it with me because you just never know...  it helps when I see stuff like this, better to have it on screen than some visual in my head.

Thanks for any possibilities somebody might share with me.

Rob

Yes I believe it to be a Baltimore Oriole. I am thinking an immature male!
