Does anyone know how early you would have to leave Toronto to avoid heavy traffic on the way to Thickson's Woods on week days?

Hi there,

Noticed that you never got a reply on traffic out to Thickson's... I travel west on the 401 every morning between 6am and 7am from Ajax to Mississauga.  To be honest, the east-bound traffic from the DVP/404 out to Whitby doesn't look all that bad.  I'd try to avoid being at the 401/DVP interchange after 7:30 and before 9:30 if I could avoid it though.  Hope that helps, and that you have a birdy visit at Thickson's.

Best,

Pat

When I lived in Scarberia, traffic to Thicksons was simply never a problem in the mornings. It gets a touch busier on Thickson Rd around shift-changes @ the GM plant, but the 401 out to Thickson is usually clear sailing all the way from Scarborough.
