Title: Wild Turkeys almost hit by car
Post by: Cody on May 11, 2010, 06:29:46 PM
On Ridge Road today on the Niagara Escarpment in Grimsby,  2 Wild Turkeys were almost hit by a car.  They were on the side of the road, and they both came too close to the car and the car almost struck them. They flew off into a nearby field once the car was gone. Very scary.

I had never seen one fly until last weekend when my daughter noticed the bird by the side of the road and he immediately flew very low in front of our vehicle.  I  have always seen them wandering around fields or under trees.
