I was just looking through some photos I took last year, and I found a few that I am unsure about.
The first was taken in my backyard last year in early September. At first I thought it was a Yellow Warbler, but then I noticed that the bird has a brown head with an all brown back. Could it be a Palm Warbler? Any ideas?

The second was taken at Col. Sam Smith Park last May and I think it is a Black-crowned Night Heron but I am not sure.

The third is a terrbile picture. It was taken at dusk at full zoom last year, over Lake Ontario in late May. I have no idea what it is because the picture is so bad. Look at the size of the beak, what kind of shorebird is it? Any ideas?

Hi, these are quite tricky.
The first is too streaky for a yellow warbler. I'm not sure what it is, but my best guess is an immature/female Cape May Warbler.
The second I agree with you, Black-crowned Night Heron.
In the third picture I think I'm seeing a black belly so I'm guessing Dunlin.
