I looked into my East York backyard this morning. standing on our deck was what I initially thought was a hermit thrush.
this is NOT a picture that I took of it - its a point of reference.

what I saw seemed to be a wee bit pinker than that (pink or creamy undertones). it also was completely solid in colour. it looked like a large sparrow with a sweeter looking face and a larger eye...like a sparrow mated with a morning dove. or...kind of like the picture above. :)
any suggestions?
