Title: Unknown Feeder Bird
Post by: Cody on May 16, 2010, 09:53:35 PM
2 Weeks ago I had this odd bird at my feeders.  The bird was all black with no red/orange on wings (RWBB). It had ruffeled feathers on the lower body (possibly water). It was about the size of large sparrow. It was feeding on the ground, below a feeder full of mixed seed.

Maybe a Rusty Blackbird if it was about the size of a Red-winged Blackbird.  I can't think of an all black bird in Ontario that's as small as a sparrow.

The more that I think about it,  it was about the size of a small red-winged black bird (if that helps).
