Title: Northern Shrike
Post by: cabz on December 14, 2006, 04:16:03 PM
Have seen it at least 3 times over the last 2 weeks.  Oddly, on dull days, hunting a hay field.

3rd Line of Erin Twp about 1km north of 24, west of Erin.  There is a fallen down old barn on the east side of the road.  Shrike is usually on hydro lines hunting the field to the north of the barn.

3rd Line is the first road east of Ospringe.

Good birding

I read somewhere that a N. shrike was spotted by the dump in Milton hwy 25 south..

Are you the author of that post I read on "Ontbirds Bmail"

I spotted a Shrike this morning at the pond I visit close to my house in Milton.   I was also surprised to

find a GB Heron.

I added two badly overexposed images to my gallery

Thanx Napper
