Title: Red Admiral
Post by: JW Mills on May 17, 2010, 11:04:59 PM
There were quite a few of these at Humber Bay Park East on May 14.
This was the only one who would sit still long enough for a photo!

Very nice shot.
You are right, they don't sit very long, and not with their wings open full, good catch.
Have had quite a few in the backyard, but haven't been able to get any shots, thanks!

Excellent shot Zed.  I can't believe how many Red Admirals there are this spring.  Walter

Thanks!
I've seen a lot of butterflies this year. I've been trying to photograph them but they are not very cooperative!
