Post by: Photoman on May 18, 2010, 08:44:47 PM
Greetings again :D

Mike and I stopped off on Ressor Pond in Markham on Sunday and found some Dunlins and 1 Sanderlings. If I got my ID wrong on the shore birds, please let me know. Thanks

Enjoy.

I think your sanderling might be a least sandpiper.

My books say Least Sandpiper as well.  Great photos.  Walter

Very nice photos. And yes, the last one is a Least Sandpiper.

If I may give some criticism, I think that the light seems a little unnatural to me, you are no doubt using a flash? I would turn it down a bit.

Thanks to all for your comments and the correct ID, thanks for the tip Andreas, I do use my flash alot for flash fill, it's sometimes hard to see my view screen on a bright sunny day and I was shooting into the sun, I will tone the flash down abit. Thanks again.
