I heard my first Common Nighthawk of the year at 8:00 this evening in South Etobicoke. I was out again a few minutes ago (9:00pm) and heard it (or another one) again.

You beat me by 2 hours. :-) I had my first at around 10pm tonight near Trinity Bellwoods park. Nice to have them back!

I had 19 flyover my house tonight, I managed to get a picture of one of them.

That looks like a Barn Swallow, forked tail, dark read throat.
