Title: What about deceased raptors??

A Few months ago a small  Am Kestrel malnourished was found on the property where I work. It was taken to the

Is there an agency that should be informed when a dead unbanded raptor is found?

A friend at work sent me an image (that i will not post) of a dead Coopers hawk. Somewhere along the Allen xpressway walking path.?

The bird looks like it just fell over and died, no signs of injury..(to bad Beautiful bird)

I don't know of any place that you can report a deceased raptor to, but if it looks like a young bird or one that isn't necessarily old and it hasn't died from any type of visual "trauma" I would contemplate telling the government about it as it might be related to West Nile depending on the area you find it in.
