Title: PM doesn't get sent

Often when I PM someone the message doesn't get sent for hours or days, if at all. That is, the message stays in the "Outbox" for a very long time before appearing in the "Sentbox". Do others have this problem, or is it just my account?

I have a PM now sitting in the Outbox waiting to get sent, since 8 hours back. Pretty frustrating.

Andy, could you have a look at it please?

This happens to me as well. My theory was that the message doesn't appear as sent until it gets read by the receiver.

EDIT: This happended with the message I sent you on Saturday. I sent you a PM on Sat at 8:30am and it sat in the outbox until around the time you sent a reply. Not sure if that was because it wasn't delivered or because you didn't check the site until later in the day to get the message.

Hey Guys,

The message stays in your Out Box until the the party it is intended for logs on and goes to their PM page., then it moves to their In Box and your Sent Box.

my email tells me i have a new pm but when i go to it...there is nothing
usually it tells me i have a message when i go there
and i can read it...

Hey Irene,

I think in that situation, the sender deleted the message from their Outbox before you had a chance to log on and receive it to your Inbox.

Thanks, I kind of figured that might have been one of the possibilities, I rarely have problems with pm's on this list

Thanks for this Ive been frustrated wondering if the message was actually sent or not. Good to know.
