Title: Female Red-winged Blackbird withBands- What do I do?
Post by: Cody on May 26, 2010, 09:35:36 PM
I would really like to help out with the tracking of this bird, and if anyone has any information that would be great.

This is what the band looks like....

If the bird returns tomorrow, I will try and get some more information about the band.

I don't see a band in that picture.

Looks like its normal ringed leg? If it has a band they you would need the number if possible, some are coloured only but this is mostly with shorebirds and gulls.

I guess I overlooked my picture. I was unaware that Bands were that small, I thought they took up the whole leg.
