Title: Osprey and Nesting Platform

The photos were taken in the Rama/Orillia area . One platform was close to the dirt back road and one was at distance and both had a pair of osprey  A third nest in the area was built straddling the hydro pole horizontal and wires .

Meghan ,
You right , both birds wanted me out of the vicinity of their nest and seemed quite agitated - I stayed just long enough to take a few photos. The one platform was probably positioned a little close to the road ( 25meters), however, I've seen platforms positioned directly above pedestrian pathways along the Severn waterway system and the birds didn't seem bothered in the least by people movement below
