Hey!
I am filling my feeders daily now!. Tons of birds.
We have at least three Cedar Waxwings hanging around. Not much else to report, but for a Raptor attack yesterday around 11:30 am.
Birds scattered everywhere, then the death swoop, extremely agitated Grackles and Red wings chasing shadows and making a lot of noise.
Napper:)
lots of Am Gfinches about.

I am also filling my feeders very regularly but unfortunately the consumers are not too interesting - grackles, grackles and more grackles. They have figured out how to by-pass the weight trigger on the feeders - one foot on the dowel and the other on the feed port, so the feed ports don't close. Even my shelled and unshelled peanut feeders are being used mainly by grackles.

Hey!
Sorry to hear about your Grackle problem, there's not much you can do about it.
I am only using one feeder now. I am pleased with numbers of Cardinal that are visiting.
The Fledgling Chickadee's are really neat to watch and listen to.
Cedar Waxwings are very active on our street. I am pretty sure there are only three but they get around and make it appear that there are more.
