I've been visiting our grandchild and, can you believe it, for the 3rd year in a row the Painted Bunting showed up for a few minutes on her Birthday. WOW.
I saw more Scissor-tailed flycatchers than usual. Abundant cardinals.
A Carolina Wren had nested in a birdhouse on the porch and had babies while we were there.
Not so great news: one scorpion seen near the Swimming Pool and one Tarantula near the driveway - both firsts for me and hopefully the lasts!!
