Title: looks like a chirpie on steriods what is it?
Post by: Napper on April 28, 2006, 08:27:05 PM
was near  8:00pm  this evening   redish  top of head, heavily barred, looks like a really, really  big chirpy

image quality  not so good. can't find it in a guide??? any ideas....    thanx Napper .  The Chripies around are really tiny  in comparison to this bird.  I thought

song sparrow but the mark on the chest isn't really distinctive..
